Khushi Khanna
This bride inspired awe with a soft pink and silver embellished lehenga which she accessorized with gold kundan jewelry.
A wedding is the canvas for every bride to express her inherent creativity and unleash her inner diva. A solo moment in the spotlight to shine before everybody. This was exactly the case for Bride Khushi Khanna, a writer by profession, who took charge of the style reigns and chose a variety of stunning outfits to make a resounding statement at each event. Here’s a look at all her sartorial choices.
Wedding Planning
Located near the lush forest of Ranthambore, Khushi and Mrinal chose the majestic Nahargarh Ranthambhore as their wedding venue. Flanked by traditional architecture which is painted in pristine white, this venue offered the duo all the space they needed and formed a perfect backdrop for their vibrant nuptials.
Owing to the pandemic, Khushi and Mrinal’s wedding plans faced multiple delays. But with sheer determination and support from their loved ones, the duo powered through to orchestrate an intimate yet beautiful wedding ceremony. Khushi shares, “After many delays, we finally decided to tie the knot in a small ceremony with only our family and closest friends in attendance.” Aided by her mom and sister, the discerning bride picked each outfit and jewelry with complete precision. Also, to ensure that the bride looked stunning in each shot, hairstylist and makeup artist Ridhika Khanna created magic on Khushi with her incredible skills.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
Dressed in a simple bright yellow zari bordered saree that matched the hue of the turmeric being smeared on her cheeks, Khushi glowed with happiness under the sunlight. To further enhance her look, she chose silver jhumkas, a stunning necklace and bangles that complemented the warm hue of her saree.
Sangeet
Giving the glamor stakes a healthy boost, the bride chose a glitzy zari embroidered lehenga for her Sangeet as she took the dance floor by storm with Mrinal. Paired with a noodle-strapped blouse, the lehenga was covered in intricate zari detailing from top to bottom and was paired with a sheer net dupatta. To ensure that she stayed comfy while dancing to her favorite tunes, she chose a light diamond necklace and a fuss-free side-swept hairdo.
Wedding
Donning a soft rose-pink lehenga that looked straight out of a desi fairytale, Khushi exuded royal vibes on her big day. Embellished with silver gota patti work which encircled the entire length of her lehenga, the happy bride looked elegant as well as glamorous. For her accessories, she wore heavy kundan and emerald encrusted jewelry and a statement nath that highlighted her eyes. Furthermore, bright red choodas gave her outfit an extra pop of color.
Advice for couples
Khushi advises, “Own the day completely and remember that it’s all about the details. Incorporate elements you both love in your clothes and don’t forget to have a good time. Things might not turn out exactly as planned but as long as you remember to have fun, nothing else will matter. Additionally, for those who’re tying the knot in the pandemic, it is paramount to adhere to every safety regulation!”
