From Jungle Decadence to the tranquility of Good Earth, this wedding explored diverse moods!
Rupali and Rishabh’s wedding revelries wove a tapestry of extravagance, traditions, and unforgettable moments, every nuance of which was breathtakingly captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – Happyframes. Watch their story come alive!
How they met
Rupali shares, “Rishabh and I have known each other as acquaintances for a long time! Our families had met on several occasions at a relative’s place, so when our families got us introduced to each other, it felt like talking to a long-time friend. Even though the introduction was formal, we instantly clicked from our very first meeting. Despite residing in two different cities, Mumbai and Surat for Rishabh and I respectively, we started meeting frequently, finding as much time as we could over weekends. We discovered a shared love for traveling, adventure sports, and shopping, and it didn’t take us long to say yes to each other!”
Wedding Planning
They hosted their wedding at the charming Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Nashik and turned to Team Happyframes to capture every detail of their celebrations. Talking about the experience, they share “We had a great time working with the team. As a bride, I know how particular I was about my ideas, aesthetics, and angles. The team was open to all our ideas right from the start. On the ground, they ensured a mix of their style and our choices -the best blend of what a wedding photographer and filmmaker can be hired for. And oh, the live video edit was the icing on the cake and a great conclusion to our wedding celebrations when it was played at the reception. Everyone in our family loved it!”
Wedding Functions
Mayra
The festivities started with the bride’s Mayra function. The vibrant hues and flavors of Moroccan Souks and Spice Markets infused the occasion with a unique vibe, complete with stunning flowers, baskets, multicolored cushions, poufs, and more. The bride was resplendent in an elegant saree of ivory and white.
Sangeet
Dubbed “Vibe and the tribe”, the Sangeet night was filled with jungle decadence and fiery vibrance on the stage! Right from the entrance to the hall, the space was filled with foliage, striking animal installations and figurines, leopard and zebra prints, and luxe gold details. Exuding glamor in high fashion, the bride and groom set fire to the stage with their dance, and both sides of the families came together with raving performances back to back, making the night unforgettable.
Carnival
The ice-breaker for the two families, the Carnival soiree saw a cozy decor corner and a spirited cricket match between the bride and groom’s sides. Achor Ansh’s engaging anchoring along with fun games had the crowd rolling on the floor! The couple’s entry on “Jamal Kudu” from the movie Animal was loved by all. The hoots and laughs from the families, followed by them all dancing to the song, made the occasion unforgettable.
Wedding and Reception
Imagined with the theme of “Good Earth”, the wedding ceremony saw serene whites and tons of foliage and sparkling chandeliers for a natural, enchanting ambiance that was minimalistic and classy. From the couple’s attire to the varmalas and the decor, everything was in perfect symphony. Crafted with wooden pillars and beams and adorned with banana leaves and white blooms, the mandap was a vision to behold.
Advice for couples
“Have visual clarity on how you would like to actually see each of your functions come alive. Be real about what can be done at a certain venue and line up the decor and other arrangements accordingly. Keep all your vendors in the loop by sharing information about your plans and ideas.”
