A series of extravagant celebrations marked the union of Simran and Kunal planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Krayonz Entertainment. Hosted in Bengaluru the wedding celebrations had the perfect canvas against which the couple’s vision came to life.
Wedding Planning
Achint Nag from Krayonz Entertainment shares, “We transformed Kunal and Simran’s Bangalore wedding into a multi-day extravaganza, seamlessly blending Indian traditions with a touch of the unexpected. We proposed a multi-day event showcasing a fusion of Indian heritage and a whimsical Greek theme. The sprawling JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa and adjoining Mulberry Shades Bengaluru Nandi Hills became a canvas for our vision. A 40,000-square-foot air-conditioned marquee housed the grand events. The wedding ceremony was a mesmerizing blend of Indian and Neo-Baroque decor.
Kunal and Simran sought a wedding that shattered conventional expectations. They envisioned a luxurious celebration in Bangalore, surprising their Dubai-based guests with a unique location and theme. While honouring Indian traditions, they yearned for a touch of the extraordinary.
The sprawling grounds offered a vast canvas. However, creating a 40,000-square-foot air-conditioned marquee within this space demanded meticulous planning and expert logistics. Seamless coordination with the venue ensured a flawless setup. Catering to 900 guests, many with international palates, necessitated a world-class culinary experience. Partnering with Purpleberry Catering ensured an unparalleled spread. Creating a 10,000-square-foot makeshift kitchen within the venue to support their 240-person team from Delhi and Dubai was an incredible logistical feat.”
Wedding Functions
Family Dinner
Subtle floral decor, champagne and live music made the close-knit family dinner a memorable event. The plush seating arrangements kept the guests comfortable while they indulged in a plethora of delicacies.
Welcome Lunch
Hosted by the pool, the welcome lunch exuded laid-back vibes with its pastel decor and breezy canopies. Wildflower-inspired floral arrangements, vintage frames, pastel furnishings, ivory orbs and floral arches inspired awe. Taking guest indulgence a step further, were the foot massage stations where the guests relaxed after a delicious meal.
Welcome Gala
The evening that followed overflowed with lip-smacking cocktails, energetic beats and groovy moves on the dancefloor. The Welcome Gala was a breathtaking celebration which looked out of this world with its blue and silver palette. Life-sized chrome Pegasus statues, delicate lavender-hued blooms and the ceiling filled with suspended crystals made the night come to life. On the entry, the guests were treated to a grand welcome with artists resembling the paparazzi clicking pictures.
Santorini Lunch
True to its name, this sunkissed event brought the charm of Santorini to Bengaluru. Bright pink bougainvilleas, blue and white prints and a Mediterranean spread gave the guests an authentic taste of Greece. The art counter kept the little ones occupied while the grown-ups had a gala time clicking selfies against the colorful floral backdrops. Accompanied by their fur baby, the couple made a stylish entry flanked by dancers.
Sangeet
Embracing futuristic design elements, the sangeet decor featured LED lights, disco balls and an entryway with mirror work figurines. A vast stage ensured the family’s performances looked larger than life. On the other hand, an interactive bar kept the spirits high.
Wedding
For the wedding day, all stops were pulled with a mesmerizing blend of Indian and Neo-Baroque decor. Dainty blooms like roses, gypsos and jasmine were strategically placed across the venue. Additionally, strings on pearls suspended from the ceiling gave the event a vintage look. Gilded pillars supported the wedding mandap while metallic latkans swayed to the slightest breeze.
Reception
Bringing the celebrations to an end with plenty of glitz and glamour, the reception made jaws drop. Incredible floral setups, an enchanted garden-like entryway and a live performance ensured the night was full of energy.
