Bollywood’s favorite sweethearts of the moment, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding made a splash online. But apart from their festivities, the actress’ stunning engagement ring also grabbed the spotlight when pictures of their hush-hush wedding were released on social media.
The exquisite ring given to her by Vicky is speculated to cost around 7.4L Rupees and is crafted by the legendary American jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. Labeled proudly as the Tiffany Soleste Engagement ring on the brand’s website, Katrina’s ring is encrusted with a single cushion-cut tanzanite encircled by a double halo of round brilliant diamonds in 0.45 carats. Eschewing the traditional solitaire and white gold rings that one usually spots on celebrities across the globe, the couple instead opted for platinum as their base metal and a huge two-carat tanzanite, a rare gem that showcases blue and violet hues against the light. Apart from being a complete stunner that took everyone by surprise, jewelry enthusiasts were also quick to point out its close resemblance to Princess Diana’s iconic sapphire engagement ring which remains a classic to date!
