The sensational ring is said to have been made by Beverly Hills-based jeweler XIV Karats, a favorite of celebrities like Lana Del Rey, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Baldwin. The designer Caryn Albert, who has not only created Avril’s previous engagement rings but is also her BFF, personally designed the ring as per Mod’s vision.
An unusual choice of cut which Alpert corroborates by saying that perfecting a heart shaped diamond is one of the most challenging yet. this 5-carat solitaire was chosen by Mod as a nod to their first meeting when they both happened to be wearing heart-shaped pavé rings that they had coincidentally bought from the same designer. Set on a micropavé band shaped like a crown, it also celebrated their connection to France and was inscribed on the inside with their names along with the words “Hi Icon”, his first-ever words to her, making it all the more sentimental.
While the exact cost of the ring is unknown, experts have estimated the cost of the unique ring to be worth around $750,000.
