Urvi’s bachelorette sojourn to the verdant hills of Aamby Valley
After Urvi’s exotic vacation plans fell through, a villa bash and a memorable photoshoot with her girls was the perfect bachelorette celebration.
The disappointment of Urvi’s exotic trip to Bali getting cancelled was short-lived as the bride-to-be was whisked away by her girl squad to the lush greenery of Aamby Valley for a bachelorette bash. Loaded up on tons of fun activities and memorabilia to celebrate her adieu to single life, they decided to freeze their memories with a quirky photoshoot done by WeddingSutra Favorite – Israni Photography.
Set against the beautiful hills of Ambavane close to Aamby Valley, Canary Farms Villa 111 was a charming property, perfect for the girls’ trip. A mere 3 hour drive from Mumbai, it allowed them to escape the bustle of the city while staying safe and also observing social distancing protocols.
The bride and her squad of 7 decided to immortalize their special moments with a themed photoshoot. Putting a fun, humorous spin on all of the much loved bachelorette party activities, they strapped themselves in for a fab girl’s night complete with a chick-flick marathon, some poolside pampering where they indulged in mimosas, makeup and makeovers, and finally, a bridal shower with a DIY Sangria making session!
The bride, who is the founder of Wedding Lounge, has employed her talents to curate dozens of bridesmaids and bachelorette hampers for her clients. For her own party, she spared no effort in acquiring the most beautiful hampers for her special ladies. Like the pretty lavender theme for the whole trip, the suitcase shaped velvet box opened to reveal a mirror with the question “Will you be my bridesmaid”? It was customized with matching robes, slippers, nightwear and t-shirts for the different events. Flowers, custom sketches and perfumes completed the box, while balloons, champagne, macaroons and other sweet treats made the occasion unforgettable!
Recalling her favorite moments of the trip, the bride shares, “The most memorable experience for me was getting ready with my bridesmaids. It truly made me realize that I was about to be a bride, which was an incredible feeling. In the middle of the wedding planning, we often forget to enjoy ourselves with the people we are closest to, and this trip with my girls is something I would cherish for the rest of my life”.
