Zakir Hussain celebrates daughter’s wedding at Indigo and Tote, Mumbai

Zakir Hussain’s daughter Anisa Qureshi’s got married to Taylor Phillips and the entire music industry turned up to bless the couple. The functions included a pre-wedding party at Indigo, Colaba where they hosted a beautiful quawali evening. This was followed by a wedding reception at Tote, Mahalakshmi on 30th December.
Anisha, a UCLA graduate who is into film-making wore a gorgeous Anamika Khanna lehenga for the wedding reception. The guests included Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Sivamani, Rahul Bose, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Pankaj Udhas, Jagjit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sonali Rathod, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant.
Zakir Hussain is married to Antonia Minnecola, a Kathak dancer and teacher, who is also his manager. Anisa Qureshi is their elder daughter, their younger daughter Isabella is studying dance in Manhattan.
