The bold and the beautiful, the young and the restless sauntered into Escobar in Bandra as Kiran and Sunil Datwani celebrated 30 years of Gehna Jewellers with a preview of Karan Johar’s exclusive collection for Gehna Jewellers.
All-black models posed as mannequins as they brought alive the new SS16 line by Gehna. Presented by RJ Malishka, there was a fun ‘rapid fire’ round with Karan Johar, Kiran and Sunil Datwani.
The swish set made their presence felt and it felt like a red carpet event with the likes of Evelyn Sharma who looked lovely with her Gehna earrings studded with diamonds, black diamond studded in 18-carat white gold. Karan Johar and Sunil Datwani soared in their style quotient with edgy skull-shaped Gehna lapel pins studded with diamonds set in 18-carat rose gold from the men’s jewellery line.
Featuring jhumkis and chandelier earrings in diamonds, uncut diamonds and emeralds, the new collection spells traditional charm with a contemporary appeal. The collection is an amazing amalgamation of flamboyant cuts and meticulous designs, teamed with stylish riveting concepts – bringing Karan Johar’s signature whimsical note of brilliance to each and every piece.
