This Engagement Hosted at ITC Maurya Was A Grand ‘Funjabi’ Party!

Gulsheen and Jaskaran’s engagement, coupled with a cocktail soiree, marked the start of a long line of celebratory evenings. The event hosted at the grand ITC Maurya set just the right tone for all the functions that followed.
Engagement Venue
The couple chose ITC Maurya in Delhi to host the ceremony. The hotel’s plush banquet hall, with a seating capacity of up to 600 people, was where the Engagement and the cocktail party took place. Being the preferred destination of some of the most powerful people in the world on their visits to New Delhi, ITC Maurya has amazing facilities and is well-equipped to handle all types of functions. This made it an obvious choice for the couple to host such an important occasion.
Engagement and Cocktail
The engagement was a grand and lavish party. The banquet hall at ITC Maurya was decorated with beautiful floral arrangements that consisted of white orchids as well as an assortment of flowers. Tall-stemmed red roses and gypsophila used as table toppers were placed in elegant white vases. The Tables lined with gold linen and chairs covered with a black overlay with a beige ribbon was a perfect set up to complement the decor.
For the special occasion, Gulsheen wore a heavily-embroidered, emerald-green lehenga with a pair of sneakers. She looked every bit the modern bride, melding traditional and contemporary for a stylish look. The baroque jewellery she donned added oodles of bling and glam to her look. Jaskaran, on the other hand, wore a black bandhgala sherwani and a matching turban, paired with champagne-colored bottoms. With all eyes on them, the couple exchanged stunning ornate rings as guests gathered around, cheering them on. Right after, Jaskaran went down on one knee, offering a rose to his fiance that she happily accepted.
The sweethearts then broke into a romantic dance as guests continued to chant their names and cheer for them.
The evening wasn’t just about dreamy romance; the couple made sure that the cocktail party was as lively as ever. They took to the dance floor, performing to various songs and were soon joined by their guests who danced the night away. The grand celebration was one big ‘Funjabi’ party and had everyone who attended in high spirits. The night ended with the couple smiling from ear-to-ear as they made the transition into their happily ever after.
