This Mangalore wedding saw a profusion of floral decor that gave the celebrations a touch of spring

Hosted at the plush UVA Meridian Bay Resort & Spa, in Mangalore, this wedding saw bride Iqra and groom Farid step into matrimony at a lavish ceremony planned and executed by Bangalore-based WeddingSutra Favorite – Poonam Mayank Sharma.
The outdoor haldi ceremony saw the couple make an entry in a carriage as their friends let off colorful smoke bombs to welcome them. The decor for this event included LED signages and entertainers who glittered in their mirror work ensembles and regaled the audience with their performances. Guests also shook a leg on the dance floor and showed off impressive moves.
For the wedding, the Poonam Mayank Sharma team designed an elevated ramp for the gorgeous couple with a profusion of fresh flowers. The dim lighting, overhead drapes, and beautiful blooms made for a stunning setup that included comfortable white leather couches. The entrance to the venue featured a stunning floral archway.
The bride wore a red Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehenga for the nikah. It complemented the dreamy red lights, soothing white drapes and candelabras that lined both sides of the aisle leading to the nikah venue. A majestic floral wreath placed behind the bride’s seating area was a stunning decor element.
The opulent reception saw the venue festooned with massive crystal chandeliers and candelabras that fused sharp glittering radiance and a softer diffused glow through the evening. The highlight of the function was the couple’s seating area, where the backdrop was covered with pastel flowers and gigantic white pots were placed on both sides. The bride’s gorgeous all-silver gown was in sync with the glittering ambiance.
The roundtable buffet seating for the guests had elements that matched the reception decor, such as majestic strings of flowers that were placed across tables and affixed on top of crystal chandeliers.
