Hosted by the shores of the serene Mediterranean Sea, This wedding was an epic celebration of love. Counting their blessing while having a gala time with their loved ones, the duo’s union in Turkey planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Copper Events, flaunted a series of awe-inspiring celebrations.
Planning a destination wedding far away from home is not a cakewalk. And, to make their dreams come true, the couple selected Copper Events who brought their planning and logistical expertise to the table. Prateek Tandon from Copper Events tells us how the celebrations unfolded, “The festivities were hosted at Cullinan Belek, Turkey – a luxury resort in May. For three days, we wanted to pack as much fun as possible for the 600 guests and give them a taste of Turkey’s luxurious hospitality.”
Welcome Lunch and Haldi
The celebrations began with a tropical welcome lunch where the guests could relax after their long flights and drink in the beauty of the Mediterranean. Prateek shares, “Guests were transported to the enchanting Tropical Citrus Paradise-themed wedding in Turkey, guests experienced a vibrant celebration blending Turkey’s allure with lively tropical hues. The event, set against breathtaking landscapes, featured decor mirroring the zest of citrus fruits and the warmth of Turkish hospitality.
The Haldi ceremony, with a colour bomb entry, epitomised the fusion of cultures. From Mediterranean-inspired cuisine to Turkish traditions, every detail embraced the richness of Turkey, creating unforgettable memories in this union of love and vibrant settings.”
Engagement
Prateek shares, “The engagement was immersed in the enchantment of Sufi dreams with the venue illuminated with elegant white hues that were embellished with intricate décor. The groom pleasantly stunned the bride with a unique dance act, accompanied by the bridesmaids. The evening peaked with a soul-stirring performance by musical maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.”
Beach party
Prateek shares, “A beachy Affair with tropical vibes was beautifully set against the backdrop of the ocean waves. The venue, subtly adorned with tropical touches, exuded a lively and carefree atmosphere. As guests stepped into the festivities, the couple’s entry was marked by vibrant balloons.”
Sangeet and Fiesta Lunch
For the sangeet, all the glamour boxes were ticked with a black and red design theme, “The guests, adorned in stylish ensembles, enjoyed lively family performances, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The highlight was Atif Aslam’s captivating performance, infusing the evening with soulful melodies. Culinary delights, a pulsating dance floor, and a thematic ambience made it a night of magical memories.”
After the high-energy sangeet, the guests and the to-be-weds relaxed under the Turkish sun with a fun fiesta lunch. Colourful decor with quirky elements and floral prints ensured the couple’s family enjoyed a banter-filled feast.”
Wedding
The wedding was nothing less than a floral dream come true, with tropical blooms, gypsos and white arches. Prateek shares, “The varmala ceremony was a sundowner one against a dramatic sunset and the waves. The couple exchanged vows against the serene beach backdrop, followed by beachside entertainment, delightful cuisine, and a magical sunset reception. Gurdeep Mehendi’s power-packed performance concluded the enchanting evening.
