When it comes to bridal makeup, nothing rivals the strength, glamour and power of super fun, super bright lips.
Finding the perfect bright lipstick for your skin tone can be a tricky task. Select your red or pink shade after understanding your skin tone. If you are fair skinned, choose lipsticks that have shades of coral and orange which add a pop to your face. Shades which suit medium skin tones are the deeper reds or those with a pink tint. If you are blessed with a dusky skin color, opt for maroons or berry shades of lipsticks.
Makeup artist Amrita Sanghavi demonstrated how to sport a bright lip on Bride-to-be Varisha Maniar at WeddingSutra on Location. Amrita used the newest Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick in Crimson Touch shade to define her lips. She applied it starting in the center of the upper lip, working from the center to the outer edges of the lip, following the contours of the mouth, and then glided it across the entire bottom lip.The long wear formula of the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick glides smoothly on to the lips giving an edgy finish. Amrita suggests to keep the rest of the makeup muted while sporting a fierce lip color and do not forget to moisturize the lips and lock in the color by using a lip liner of the same shade which will make the lipstick stay longer.
