A Gorgeous Pre-Wedding Shoot in the jewel of Qatar, Doha!

Doha’s picturesque architecture, vistas of the harbor, wide beaches and lush green landscapes offered breath-taking backdrops for Kimberly and Calvin’s pre-wedding shoot. Peppered with natural as well as man-made beauty, Doha was the perfect canvas where the soon-to-be-wed couple could enjoy quiet moments of love under the sun. The bride-to-be shared some highlights from her memorable day in Qatar’s most loved city!
How We Met
“Both Calvin and I are a part of the aviation industry. He works as an on-ground officer, whereas I am a cabin attendant. We were introduced to each other at a coffee shop by a mutual friend and that’s how it all began! The mouth-watering bun we ordered was finished quickly unlike our conversations which didn’t seem to end!”
The Proposal
“Fast forward 3 years into the relationship, and the man who never believed in Valentine’s Day, proposed marriage to me in the sweetest way! He went down on one knee and popped the question at one of the most scenic locations of the world, the Doha Corniche. Looking over the gentle waters of Doha Bay with the soft breeze blowing through our hair, it was one of the most magical moments of my life.”
Pre-Wedding Shoot
Kimberly shares, “Doha in Qatar was the place where we first met and that’s exactly where we wanted have our pre-wedding photoshoot since it was incredibly close to our hearts! The entire experience was just amazing! We had such a fun time enjoying the hidden gems of the city together that it didn’t even feel like a photoshoot. The heady mix of romance, glamor and serenity can be clearly seen in the pictures. Not only do we share an emotional connect with this destination but we also love the sheer beauty of it.”
Kimberly and Calvin enjoyed sunkissed moments at The Corniche where they held hands and gazed at traditional Qatari boats and took in the majesty of modern architecture. They also visited the lovely seafront promenade’s well-groomed gardens where they leisurely wandered on the lawns and captured stunning pictures against the dramatic green grass.
Using this opportunity to explore more of the city, the duo ventured inland to the Villaggio Mall which took their breath away with its Venetian-inspired canals and gondola rides. Posing against the backdrop of pastel-hued buildings and vintage lamp posts, it was as if Kimberly and Calvin were transported to Italy itself!
In a magnificent coastal city like Doha, it’s hard not to take a peaceful walk on the beach, and that’s exactly what Kimberly and Calvin did! With their bare toes creating footprints in the golden sand as they walked together while the waves intermittently lapped at their feet, the couple reminisced about the happiest moments of their courtship while enjoying the striking beauty around them.
