Wedding Planning
The Creative Company Founders Anvi Thaker and Nikita Shah share, “After the couple’s original plans of getting married in Istanbul got scrapped, we gave it our all to make their wedding in Pune just as unforgettable using decor, themes and arrangements to mirror the same Mediterranean experience. We accomplished this triumph by transforming the elite Ritz Carlton Pune with creative themes for all four functions. From a traditional Vrindavan themed wedding and an Enchanted Forest after-party to a Turkish Souk lunch to give them a taste of their dream Turkish wedding and more, we left no stone unturned. With just about 6 to 8 hours of turn-around time between functions, we worked tirelessly to make it all happen.”

Wedding
The wedding festivities kicked off at The Crown Deck with a divine ‘Vrindavan’ themed intimate celebration with family and close friends in tow to fulfill the couple’s vision. The bounty of natural greenery made up the canvas for the occasion while delicate floral arrangements, unique candle votives and hangings, gilded props and more, seamlessly enhanced the aura. The groom made a dazzling entrance on a vintage jeep decked with flowers. Striking golden peacock installations added an extra dose of panache to the occasion, a massive tree decked with pretty bulbs, floral hangings and foliage acted as the focal point of the ceremony, where the couple tied the knot. The entire space was infused with a soft golden glow for a magical feel.
After Party
The heady ambience of the wedding function flowed into the after-party which had a riveting ‘Enchanted forest’ theme. Planner Anvi Thaker shares, “We created a stunning passage of exotic flowers and plants that opened into the grand ballroom which was extravagantly decorated with foliage, chandeliers, candles and crystals. Light beamed through the lush canopy-like rays of the sun at the break of dawn. The DJ podium was designed to look like a tree house, while the dance floor was a transparent stage over candles to give the illusion of an illuminated forest floor. Fairytale books added an extra touch to the floral table centerpieces while a vintage carousel bar and tender chandeliers of hovering butterflies all added to the magic of the evening”.
Lunch
A relaxing lunch soiree was hosted the next day for the perfect opportunity to unwind from the previous night’s festivities. Vibrant hues of blue, white and pink filled the foyer with a quirky yet elegant mix of props. Flower vines and arrangements of fuchsia-hued bougainvillea and other flowers along with pops of bright blue recreated the feel of a Turkish Souk, along with pretty flower vases, watering cans, wooden cases, white drapes, evil eye hangings and more. Towering gold leaves added a modern sculptural element to the afternoon. Guests had a large array of activities like massage counters, henna, tarot card reading and shopping for dates, baklava and more to choose from for entertainment. Ambient instrumental music and a delightful gin bar completed the occasion for a full on pampering session for the couple and their guests.
Glitterati Lounge
Brimming with twinkling lights from top to bottom, the Glitterati Lounge turned the ballroom into a glamorous paradise. Replete with a mirrored dance floor and bar, artistic backdrops, gold lounges and an ingenious dome entry, the evening was sparkle galore. In the dark space, metal sculptures lit by LED lights added a mesmerizing touch which won everyone’s hearts!
