Our Favorite Pre wedding Photoshoots of April 2017
Pre Wedding Photoshoots, Wedding Photography & Films - Apr 11, 2017
From an adorable miniature-themed photoshoot to poses with India’s historical monuments as the backdrop, we bring you our favorite pre wedding photoshoots that captured our attention this month!
1. Precious things come in tiny packages.
Dhwani and Pakshal wanted an offbeat pre-wedding shoot that would capture their romance in a creative way. Photographer Nishith Dayal came up with a unique, engaging concept – a very special miniature themed shoot that looked really out of the box and was also a treat to shoot. Nishith Dayal says, “We shot at Aamby Valley in Pune and enjoyed every moment! This is because we shot amidst greenery and also had the full support of Dhwani and Pakshal to put forth such a different theme.”

2. Love in the city of dreams
Darshi and Parthiv met in Mumbai and wanted to bring the city that played Cupid into their pre-wedding shoot. The brief was simple – beautiful photographs against the city’s most popular landmarks. David of ND Photography knew exactly how to go about it, “Mumbai is an inspiration in itself. We shot the lovely couple at multiple locations around Mumbai such as VT Station, Sanjay Gandhi National Park, and Kala Ghoda among others. To portray the essence of their eternal romance, we gave them some props and even asked them to pose in the most candid way as possible.”

3. Love-scapes, larger than life
If you want to show your whole new world, with a 360-degree view included, then Surya Singh from The Photo World, in Chhattisgarh is the man for the job. Surya uses camera drones to bring the natural beauty of a location into the pictures, “Capturing moments with camera drones is priceless. It opens up a whole new perspective on the world. I had always believed in taking pictures with multiple natural elements in a place that has a lot going on in it. It not only gives the picture an exotic look but also adds a larger than life appeal.”
4. Around the world in one shoot
Garima and Mehul’s love/arranged marriage needed some special backdrops to fully convey the aspects of their journey and the fun, colorful nature of their relationship. So Kinjal and Shashank of Busybee Studio decided on the multi-faceted studio Perfect Location in Delhi to get a kaleidoscope of backdrops. Kinjal says, “We shot at the Perfect Location and used several different backdrops – the Moroccan Fort setting, The Santorini Delight and Texas Ranch, to project the effervescence of their bond.”

5. Timeless romance
Leena and Rahul met while studying in the US where their friendship blossomed into love. With wedding plans in the offing, the couple wanted to freeze these magic moments with a pre-wedding shoot. With a little help from Divya and Debasish of Sutra Snapperz, they decided to shoot around the Charminar – a symbol of love and romance in Hyderabad. Divya says, “The Charminar is one of the most beautiful, historical monuments in Hyderabad. But we just didn’t want to shoot in front of the Charminar, we wanted to include the hustle and bustle surrounding it. For this conceptual shoot, we even included a host of onlookers and strangers to be a part of this special street-style romantic capture.”
