Deepika Padukone Sets a Trend With Her Wedding Jewellery
Bridal Fashion and Beauty, Celebrity News - Nov 16, 2018
While her smile was the brightest jewel she wore, Bollywood’s diva, Deepika exuded such a queenly sheen throughout her wedding revelries. Including some exclusive ornaments, her bridal wardrobe unfolded classic sophistication and brilliant cuts.
Starting with an intimate puja at home, she paired the elegant orange suit with stunning earrings that showcased an amorous craftsmanship of Sabyasachi Mukherjee with gold and diamonds.
Mehndi
The diva then made a statement at her Mehndi by teaming up her blush pink thread-work kurta with a beautiful pair of jhumkas and a regal saatlada.
Konkani Wedding
Her jaw-dropping wedding looks involved some heavy jewellery pieces as well. She added a royal finesse to her Kokani wedding attire, a red and gold Kanjeevaram, with heritage pieces by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The elaborate matha patti, gorgeous jhumkas, intricate choker and rani haar, exuded an antique allure.
Sindhi Wedding
For the Sindhi wedding, our fashionista was head-to-toe in Sabyasachi. She chose to glam up her breath-taking red lehenga with a jadau maangtikka, a pearl chained nathani, and elaborate necklaces by designer. Completed with stunning rings, (including an eye-catching engagement ring!) her ensemble created an air of auspiciousness. Further, Deepika’s traditional chuda and kaleere definitely cannot be missed. Jingling on her hands, the delicate creations were designed to perfection by Ra Abta by Rahul.
Bangalore Reception
After the grand Italy wedding at Lake Como, the newlyweds recently hosted a reception at Deepika’s hometown, Bengaluru. The actress was seen in a striking golden saree gifted to her by her mother from the House of Angadi. Adding a pop of colour to her outfit, she chose an emerald studded choker with a mandala medallion and large studs, and layered it with an elegant pearl rani haar.
Post-Wedding Party – Mumbai
The duo kept the party going with their post-wedding bash organized by Ranveer’s sister, Ritika Singh Bhavnani. Right from the décor to their attire, every detail of the night was unusual and flawlessly reflected their personalities. While Ranveer looked dashing in his ‘all neon’ outfit, Deepika made for a princess in an embroidered Sabyasachi lehenga and a stunning floral updo. She completed her look with a gorgeous emerald drop jadau set, some spiky bangles on one hand, and the traditional chuda on the other.
Mumbai Reception
At the second reception hosted by the newlyweds at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, Deepika was seen in a dreamy Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla creation. She teamed her Chikankari demi-saree with stunning ornaments from SABOO Fine Jewels’ AJSK collection; a divine multi-tiered gold floral necklace and oversized geometric disc earrings adorned with pearls, gold and polkis.
Bollywood Reception
For the last in the series of wedding festivities, the actress stunned us all in a gorgeous red gown by Zuhair Murad. She completed the regal look with her dazzling engagement ring, her solitaire mangalsutra and a pair of ruby studded diamond earrings, hidden behind her luscious locks.
We can’t wait to watch what the style icon picks for the next celebration!
