And with the wedding season in full swing, the spa has launched a selection of bespoke treatments for brides-to-be and her entourage. The Spa extended an invitation to a WeddingSutra fan to experience one of their recently introduced bridal treatments. Here, Sasha Ram, a bride-to-be blogs about her day at the paradise.
“A free spa day only comes as a delight for any girl! So naturally, on the day of my appointment I was very happy, after all I was sure this would be the most pampering experience. When I reached the Spa I was welcomed with hot ginger lemon tea after which they informed me about their range of bridal packages. I chose to begin with a massage followed by a body scrub and facial. As I lay there listening to soothing music and taking in the aromatic fragrances, my therapist ensured I felt relaxed. The balancing oil that she used was immensely soothing, and made my skin softer. For the full body scrub, she used fragrant green-colored bath salts to energize and rejuvenate my skin. Next was the facial which included cleaning and massaging with organic ingredients followed by a face peel off pack to tighten the skin and make the face look fresh.
The last in the regime was the steam (for 20 minutes) followed by a relaxing hot shower. As I emerged dressed, I was offered another cup of hot ginger lemon tea and a glass of cool water. My three hour session came to a close, and I couldn’t get over how relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated I felt. All in all, I would say it was a perfect day, better than anything I could dream off. The Bridal Beauty Journey at The Spa is sure an epitome of ultimate luxury and relaxation. And a perfect gift for a bride-to-be.”
